CITY YARD WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE
Grass clippings, hedge trimmings or smaller twigs that can be bagged, may
be placed in a plastic
bag, no larger than 33
gallons.
The bags must be
placed by the curbside
before
7:00
A.M.
.
Requests for this
collection must be pre-arranged.
Please leave your
name, address, telephone
number and the number of
bags with the City’s yard
waste contractor, McCloskey’s
Lawn Care Service, at 823-8073
(a local call), from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on the Monday prior to
the Tuesday collection.
Each bag must have
a red “City of
Frankenmuth
Yard Waste Tag
”
attached or it will not
be collected.
Each red tag costs
$3.00 and may be purchased
at City Hall, Gill-Roy’s
Hardware, Kroger's. and Satow’s
Drug Store.
CITY BRUSH COLLECTION SCHEDULE
The City of Frankenmuth
monthly brush collection
scheduled for the first
Monday of each month will
begin on Monday, March 4, 2002
.
Brush, including
tree limbs no greater than
5 inches in diameter, must
be neatly stacked behind
the curb, so as not to
obstruct street traffic
or create a vision obstruction.
Tree stumps, smaller
twigs and/or hedge trimmings
are not acceptable for
this collection.
The first ten minutes
of chipping are free.
Thereafter, residents
will be billed $10.00 for
every ten minute period
or fraction thereof.
FALL LEAF COLLECTION
Starting Mid-October the Department of Public
Works will be collecting
leafs, garden vegetation,
and dead flowers.
All dirt must be
removed from items and
placed in the street approximately
12” away from the curb.

CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION
Place Christmas Trees curbside without plastic bags, starting December
26th with weekly pick-up
until mid-January.
