The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) was established by the
City of Frankenmuth in 1983 to promote economic growth. The Mayor
of Frankenmuth, with approval by the City Council appoints the
members of the board. Members serve four-year terms. The DDA
employs a full time Executive Director, Sheila Stamiris.
As a City organization, the DDA follows the rules and
regulations of the Open Meetings Act. The DDA meets the second
Thursday of each month at 1:45 PM in City Hall, Council Chambers.
