Youth Baseball/ Softball
We are trying to offer this outdoor recreational activity for our children, while making it as safe as possible. In order to do that, we will be implementing new measures to try to make these activities as safe as possible. Some of these measures we are considering include:
No handshakes, high fives, huddles, etc.
Keeping players from congregating in the bench area and expanding the bench area beyond the normal bench/dugout
Having a team parent to help with distancing, disinfecting, etc. in the bench area
Having disinfectant/sanitizer at the fields
Not sharing bats or helmets, or disinfecting them between uses, if necessary.
Adding time between games so that the early teams/spectators can leave before the late teams arrive
Asking families to reduce the number of spectators (parents & siblings only) and distancing for spectators
Reminding parents to keep their kids home if they are sick in any way
We need everyone’s cooperation to make this possible. We also ask for flexibility, understanding, and patience during this unprecedented time.
If your child has underlying medical conditions, we recommend that they don't participate in this program this year. Also, if you don't feel comfortable with your child playing for any reason, we support and respect your decision as a parent.

We need Coaches !! As always, we rely on volunteer coaches to make this program successful. If you can volunteer your time, please let us know at Parks@FrankenmuthCity.com.
Parent helpers- Because of the new expectations this year, we need help from parents to simply be in the bench area, controlling and organizing kids, helping to make sure that they are keeping their distance from others, and helping with disinfecting/sanitizing. If you are willing to do this, please let us know at Parks@FrankenmuthCity.com.
If you have any questions, please contact us at Parks@FrankenmuthCity.com or 989-652-3440.
