The Eagle’s Nest is located in Heritage Park and is home to the Frankenmuth Woodcarver's Guild. A group of 10 to 20 members get together a few times each week at the building to carve on individual projects and to exchange ideas and help each other with carving problems. Carving sessions are on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from about 9am - 12 noon and on Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm.
These informal sessions give the membership the opportunity to learn from the more experienced carvers while working on their individual projects. One of their main objectives is to recruit new carvers and introduce them to the art of woodcarving.
