The City of Frankenmuth purchases treated water from the City of Saginaw, who in turn purchases raw water from the Saginaw-Midland Municipal Water Supply Corporation. Our drinking water originates from Lake Huron at White Stone Point near Tawas, Michigan. It takes approximately one week for the water to travel from White Stone point at Lake Huron to your faucet. The City of Saginaw does all of the Analytical and Bacteriological
testing for the City of Frankenmuth. The City has two elevated spheroids for water capacity and for water pressure and a re-pump station.
