Spring

Spring is welcomed into Frankenmuth with warmer temperatures and decorations for Easter. The Gunzenhausen Fountain and area business are adorned with colorful eggs and ribbons to give the streets of Frankenmuth a fresh new look. The Department of Public Works is busy placing Spring flower bouquets throughout town which include tulips, daffodils and hyacinth. Spring also marks the time for the beautiful cannas and dahlias to come out of winter storage and be placed in pots throughout the city landscape.

Each year the City Beautification Committee invites the entire community to come out and participate in Arbor Day. This ceremony is in conjunction with the List Elementary School third grade class who share songs and stories about Arbor Day followed by a planting of a tree.
