General Information:

The James E. Wickson Memorial Library opened in 1974.  Mr. Wickson and his wife,
the former Meta E. Link, established the Wickson-Link Foundation, which contributed
most of the funds for the original library and the children's wing.

The Mossner Study is named for Arno W. and Caroline Goetzinger Mossner, whose
foundation contributed to the study and remodeling of the library interior.

A 6,000 square foot addition to the library was completed in 1999.

The legal service area for Wickson Library is Frankenmuth city and township.  We provide
service to residents in surrounding communities as a courtesy.  If the resident's home library
is in the White Pine Library Cooperative service area, cards are issued at no charge.  If they
are outside this area, there is a $25/year fee for a library card.  We also participate in Michicard,
the statewide library card system and MeLCat's "Visiting patron" program.  To participate,
patrons must have a library card from their local library.
