Picnic Pavilions
We have 4 pavilions available in Heritage Park: Satow, Jaycee, Nickless, & Heritage Cove. These are popular locations for reunions, group picnics and family gatherings. There are charcoal grills and electricity available at all the pavilions. Picnic tables are provided at each pavilion and can seat at least 150 people. Pavilions fill up fast so make your reservation early.
Indoor FacilitiesThe Parks & Recreation Dept. also has a couple indoor facilities that are great for family reunions, graduations, confirmation parties and meetings. The Lion Haus (located in the Heritage Park) and the Scout Building are both indoor facilities that are available to rent. The Lions Haus is typically only available from April through October.

If wedding plans are in your future, this is a great location to consider for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The Rose Garden
is secluded in Memorial Park with beautiful landscaping, florals and plenty of picturesque photo opportunities. If you are

Schau Platz (Bandshell)
Another great facility for outdoor wedding ceremonies is the
bandshell located in Memorial Park. This is a large decorative
structure with a 44’x25’ stage and surrounded by beautiful
landscaping. There are attached dressing rooms (separate for Men
& Women) with a restroom in each. Electricity is provided for
musical instruments and/or a microphone.

The Palmer Schau Platz is a great location for your outdoor concert or performance. The large decorative structure has
a stage that is approximately 44’ x 25’ and can accommodate up to 60 seated musicians. It has attached dressing rooms & restrooms for
performers and a 400 amp electrical capacity. All of the seating at the Schau Platz is lawn seating. It can also be used for wedding
ceremonies.

Palmer Schau Platz
Kern Pavilion is a large, clear span, open-air structure, that provides a flexible meeting space for a variety of large events including festivals, concerts, trade shows, and many other activities.

Kern Pavilion

Inside Kern Pavilion
If your Scout group is planning a trip to the Frankenmuth area and is looking for a less expensive alternative for overnight accommodations, the Frankenmuth Scout Building may be just what you are looking for. The building was built for local scouts to use for meetings and events. We also open it up for visiting Scouts to use when they come to town.
Facility
• Main meeting room: 30’x 43’ , with a stage on one
end and a kitchen on the other.
• Upstairs, 30’x 35’ meeting room - typically used as
a sleeping area.
• Kitchen: stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer,
microwave, coffee maker, limited cooking/ serving
dishes and utensils. If you plan on making a meal
at the Scout Building, please plan on bringing
necessary pots, pans and utensils with you.
• Bathrooms: Sinks and toilets, but no showers.
• There are no beds in the facility. Please plan
accordingly and bring your own sleeping bags, air
mattresses, cots, etc.
• TV & DVD/VCR available in the main room. There
are also some board games and puzzles in the
kitchen cabinets. Wireless internet is available
upon request.
• Building is adjacent to a city park with open
playfield and some playground equipment. It is
also within walking distance of downtown
Frankenmuth.
• Souvenir patches available at the Chamber of
Commerce, 635 S. Main (Saturday 10-5, Sunday
12-5) or Satow’s Drug Store, 308 S. Main St.,
during business hours.
Check in time is 11:00 a.m. Check-out is 10:00 a.m., except on Sundays which is 11:00a.m.
