Harvest Days at Kern Pavilion
Punt, Pass, & Kick
The NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy. The competition is FREE and open to boys and girls ages 8-15. Our local competition is usually in late-September. Winners have the opportunity to move on to a regional competition and event a state competition at Ford Field.
Pitch, Hit, & Run
is a FREE baseball skills program that allows youth to showcase their abilities in a fun competition.
Participants "pitch" strikes at a designated target, "hit" a ball of a tee for distance and accuracy, and "run" from second base to third and home for time.
Winners at our local competition participate at a sectional competition. Champions at sectionals have the opportunity to move on to a competition at Comerica Park and possibly even the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.
Hershey Track & Field
This free event is for boys and girls ages 9-14. Events include the 50 meter dash, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter run, 1600 meter run, 4 x 100 meter relay, standing long jump, and softball throw. Participants can choose 3 events to participate in. Winners of our local event, which is usually in late-May, will advance to the state finals in Holt, Michigan. State meet winners are entered in a regional pool and become eligible to compete in the North American Finals in Hershey, Pennsylvania!

Turkey Challenge
Join us for our annual Turkey Challenge in November!! Challenges include free throw shooting, football throwing, putting (golf), disc throwing and more! Prizes include turkeys, chickens and cornish hens. The competition is for participants in grades 2-8. Teams are made up one adult (mom or dad) and one child that will use a variety of skills to accumulate points. Teams will compete in three different age divisions. The cost to participate in the challenge is at least one nonperishable food item (to be donated to a local food pantry).

Daddy Daughter Dance
Delight your princess by heading to the Daddy Daughter Dance at the Bavarian Inn Lodge on Thursday, February 16, 2012. Fathers and Daughters are invited to share quality time together during this fun filled evening. This exciting night is from 6:30-8:00pm and includes dancing, refreshments, and dessert. You will also receive a picture of the couple, a gift for the girls, and have a ton of fun! A dinner option is available for an additional fee.

Mother Son Outing
Attention Moms! Grab your son(s) for a fun filled evening together at Candelite Bowling Center! This special night is on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 3:00-5:00pm. This evening is for mothers and their sons in grades 1-6. Enjoy the fun with a few games of bowling, dinner and a souvenir picture.

This weekend long program will certify students in Hunter Education, Snowmobile, ORV, and Marine Safety. All classes are taught by DNR Certified Instructors.
$5 for all 4 certifications

Frankenmuth Nights at Zehnder's Splash Village
Frankenmuth residents can purchase discounted water park passes only at the Parks & Recreation Office for certain Sundays (once a month), September – April. Passes are $15 per person.

keep track of your walking progress while you earn points for free prizes!
Walk Michigan is open to all ages. It starts in April
of each year and runs through March.
