Recruiting Information - Fall 2012

"Building the Recruit Class of 2013"

The Frankenmuth Police Department is recruiting for the fall 2012 season! Our department is looking for qualified individuals of all ages and backgrounds to become part of the best team of Reserve Police Officers in Michigan. Our Reserve Academy starts November 10, 2012, so if you want to become a recruit of the "recruit class of 2013", the time to begin is now!

Recruiting officers have begun the review process of the applications currently on file and will begin to host recruiting tables to gather new applications at Delta College, Saginaw Valley State University and Mott Community College in Flint. You do not have to be a student to visit our recruiting staff or partake in our recruiting process!! If you meet the requirements explained on our recruiting page, we encourage you to visit our recruiting staff, or send your application to our department for review.

We encourage all those who interviewed last year to reapply with us again this year. The interviewing process for this position is both intensive and competitive. There were many well qualified candidates that may have missed the scoring cut off by only a few points. We recognize that a lot can happen to an individual over a year's time.

Our recruiting process will end on Thursday, September 13, 2012.
