We will be visiting both SVSU and Delta College in hopes of finding our next group of men and women to enter into our academy in January 2010.

Recruiting Table Dates and Locations:
Recruiting tables are focal points for information on our hiring process, a place to get answers to questions, gather our application packets, and turn in your completed forms. Officers of our department will be staffing the table during the following times.
Sep 21, 2009 11am to 4pm Delta College Student Lounge
Sep 24, 2009 9am to 5pm SVSU In front of the Library
Sep 28, 2009 4pm to 8pm SVSU In front of the Library
Sep 30, 2009 11am to 7pm SVSU In front of the RFOC
Application Process:
Obtain our application at one of our recruiting tables listed above or you may obtain the printable version of our application by following the link below. It requires Adobe Reader, which you can also download below.
Turn in your completed application to either one of the following:

Criminal Justice Office - 3rd Floor
At any of our recruiting tables listed above.
DO NOT mail your application to our department or you will not be involved in this selection process!

Interview Process:
After October 1, 2009, applicants will be contacted by recruiting staff to schedule the pre-screening interview scheduled for:
OCTOBER 7, 2009 SVSU Brown Hall 3rd floor lounge
The initial pre-screening interview is the first in your interview process. Sucessful applicants will be invited to the Frankenmuth Police Department for a formal board interview with the departments command staff.
The dates for these interviews are:
OCTOBER 27 & 28, 2009 Frankenmuth Police Department
Equipment:
The academy uniform/attire will be supplied to each recruit. Recruits will need to purchase the department standard firearm, Sig Sauer 226. Each recruit will also need a pair of duty boots.
All patrol uniforms and duty gear will be supplied to each reserve officer upon completion of academy.
