Picnics
With over 100 acres of parks there are plenty of different areas to lay down a blanket, open a picnic basket, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. You can find picnic tables scattered throughout Memorial Park. Those are available on a first come-first served basis and are a great location for small groups. For larger groups we have several facilities that can be reserved. Check out Facility Reservations for more information.
Playgrounds
Both Heritage Park and Memorial Park have playgrounds that are great places to give your kids the exercise they crave while letting their imaginations run wild. Smaller neighborhood parks including Sunburst, Gunzenhausen, Zehnder, and Genesee also have play equipment for the public to enjoy.
